Eateries:
Mario’s (303 Brunswick Street) is the godfather of the strip so you can’t
go past this popular cafe for a coffee or a meal – unless you can’t get a
table, of course. They don’t take bookings and once turned Jerry Seinfeld
away.
Babka Bakery Cafe (358 Brunswick Street) is a delightful old-Russian
bakehouse, especially good for breakfast. The delicious pastries are not
to be missed.
The Vegie Bar (380 Brunswick Street) is a Brunswick Street institution.
It’s the perfect place to give yourself a healthy reminder of how delicious
vegies taste. There is also a variety of vegan and wheat-free dishes to
choose from.
